I
invite you to explore Thomas Brooks and
his family’s 1832 emigration from England to New York, USA. (Please click on Thomas Brooks to see it.) Solid leads have
me speculating as to who his father and other ancestors may be. Included is considerable information
regarding life in early 1800 England, Petworth Emigrants, the Brooks Brothers
clothing business, Canada’s quarantine station at Grosse Ile and the Cholera
epidemic of 1832. I am hoping that this
will create some conversation and I am hoping that other people studying this
same period in history and/or the Brooks family will contact me at: jrkho5@sbcglobal.net
