The Storm of the
Century.
The show itself wasn’t all too much.
There was a blizzard and we were all
pretty much stuck in the hotel!
There was some drinking, until the fridge
was empty.

Titletown Train show in Green Bay, WI.
These pics are from the setup day.
We have “Charlie!”, Chris (stealing garbage cans), Greg (allergy eyes),
Jay, and Mike (wrestling with plugs).
Chris was featuring his own WRV (Wisconsin River Valley) equipment.
The
SD-1701. Enthralled with Star Trek, club
member Mike Phalen imagineered a train locomotive combined with the Starship
Enterprise and created this model.
Adults always gawk at it, but sadly, the next generation, the little
kids, don’t know about Star Trek and get confused because they seem to know
that it is a spaceship, but can’t seem to place it into their Star Wars
mythology. To which my response is, “Get
a life!” I asked my daughter to take a
picture from a recent show and spiff it up a tad. Here is her final product.
